Located conveniently on the first floor of the Greenpark II medical office building, at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas, the Infusion Center has both a large infusion area and private treatment rooms. The center is equipped with the latest in infusion technology, and state of the art, fully-accredited pharmacy. Compassionate, personalized care is provided by two ICU experienced RNs, with 40 years of combined experience in infusion therapy. Stressing continuity of care, the nurses cultivate personal relationships with patients who often come for weekly or monthly treatments for extended periods of time. A full-time pharmacist is located within the Infusion Center and provides daily support to the infusion nurses and the patients. As an integral component within this neurology clinic, the Infusion Center has an on-site supervising physician available to monitor and prescribe symptomatic treatment for side effects, or increased disease activity during infusions.

Our Infusion Center has gained extensive experience in treating a variety of neurologic disorders, and is currently the largest clinic in Texas treating neuroimmunologic diseases. We have a significant number of patients in active treatment with diagnoses of Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP), Multiple Sclerosis, Myasthenia Gravis, CNS Vasculitis, Lupus Cerebritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Inflammatory Neuropathies, and other neurologic complications of Connective Tissue Disease.

Generally, medically stable patients do not need admittance to the hospital for certain therapies and laboratory work-up. The Office Infusion Center (OIC) is conveniently located at the physician’s office to provide ambulatory therapeutic services for the patients. This involves administration of ordered medication(s) into a vein through a catheter. Other injectable medications can also be given.
